Documentary on Cold Finland Mixed Cragging

Korouoma is Finland’s most popular winter climbing destination and the area has seen climbers for more than half a century. During the last decade, a new generation of climbers has taken the gorge valley as their local spot and have taken winter climbing to the next level, from ice to rock, from steep to even steeper terrain.

“In the Send and Create documentary,” noted the filmmakers, “we follow Samuli Pekkanen, one of the most diligent climbers in the region, on his journey to a challenging and technical first ascent in Korouoma.”
