Epic Paddle and a New 840-metre 5.12d

In this new film by Fulvio Mariani, we watch Matteo Della Bordella, Silvan Schüpbach and Symon Welfringer travel to Greenland for an adventure.

In the summer of 2021, the three journeyed to the east coast of Greenland where they went on a multi-day trip in the Arctic Ocean. After five days of paddling which took them 170 kilometres from launch, they reached unclimbed big walls.

Over several days, they established the 840-metre Forum 5.12d, the 400-metre La cene du renard on Paddle Wall at 5.12- and other tall free climbs. Watch their adventure below.
