Kyra Condia Climbing V13 in Rocklands

The American recently climbed some of her hardest problems to date

Flashback to 2018 when Kyra Condie first visited the Cederberg sandstone of Rocklands, South Africa. Earlier this year, Condia returned for the first time with a tick-list of hard routes to try.

In the end, she became the third woman to climb The Vice V13, after Anna Stöhr and Melissa La Neve, and she also sent Barracuda V11 and Art Project V11. Watch a short video of her sends below.

Condie was born and raised in Minnesota, but currently lives in Salt Lake City, Utah. She started climbing when she was 11 at Vertical Endeavors. She’s won several competitions, including 2019 US Nationals.
