New V14 Problems Opened in California
Watch the first ascents of Echo Chamber and Old Man Winter in a film by Mellow
Jimmy Webb, David Fitzgerald, Roman Yalowitz and Carlo Traversi recently teamed up to develop two incredible new V14 problems in South Lake Tahoe, California. In the end, they established Echo Chamber V14 and Old Man Winter V14. Mellow recently released a short video documenting the first ascents, watch below.
Tahoe has hundreds of boulders from V0 to some of the hardest in America. Webb established Tahoe’s first V15 in 2019 with Virgo, and in 2021 Shawn Raboutou established Tahoe’s first V16 with Big Z.
