Sending a Steep Yosemite Nine-Pitch 5.13d
Wet Lycra Nightmare is a new film that documents an epic send of the wild granite route

Jordan Cannon climbed the nine-pitch Wet Lycra Nightmare 5.13d in November 2022, and now a film about his ascent has been released. Cannon’s redpoint came after recovering from a gnarly injury, read about it here. Also in 2022, the route was freed by Sam Stroh.
Todd Skinner and Jim Hewett made the first ascent of the rarely repeated line in 2004. The route is a free-climbing variation to Wet Denim Daydream 5.6 A3, an old Darrell Hatton and Angus Thuermer route from 1977. Alex Honnold made the second known free-ascent of Wet Lycra Nightmare in 2015.
