A new short film featuring the top gear climber shows his most recent hard send

In 2017, British climber James Pearson did the first ascent of Le Voyage at Annott crag, near his adopted home in France. With runout 5.14a climbing above tricky gear, it weighed in at E10 on the British trad scale.

Veteran climber Steve McClure thought it sounded right up his street and went to have a look in March. Read our story about McClure’s redpoint here and watch a new film featuring his ascent below.
