The Église Christ-Roi (Christ the King) church was built in 1940. Not too long ago, the church closed as a place of worship and was sold for $200,000. After a $300,000 conversion the old church became a climbing gym with over 5,000 square feet of climbing surface.

The vaulted ceilings of the ex-cathedral Gothic Revival style church are high and provide good angle for an artificial climbing wall. The stain glass windows can create a surreal spectrum of light to climb in.
