A fun session on Saruman Du Bas V13 in Fontainebleau results in a strong tick
Emil Abrahamsson has shared a video of a day he recently spent with young climber Max Bertone. The two attempt Saruman Du Bas V13, a route Bertone had tried two years ago at the age of 12.
“Now he’s 14 years old,” said Abrahamasson, “and brings his high psyche and dedication to the table versus this beast of a boulder. He also completely destroys me on the crux move of the boulder, which is a difficult heel hook move from a non-existent hand hold.”
After his climb, Bertone said, “Super classic of the forest. I am so happy to top this one. A perfect try I think because I was not so easy and holds didn’t stick so much today.”
