The new problem is a sit-start to a 2009 V15
German climber Florian Wientjes has made the first ascent of Bokassa’s Fridge V15/16 in Kochel. The new sit-start is a variation to a 5.14c sport climb and a V15 first climbed by Toni Lamprecht in 2009.
The new start adds five steep and pumpy moves with endurance being the biggest crux. After falling from near the top a few times, the project turned into a mental game. It took only five sessions to send the original V15 and four more for the new start. Watch below.
