Watch Olympic Climber Send One of America’s Hardest Cave Climbs

Colin Duffy finished in the top 10 at the Olympics and recently sent two 5.14d sport climbs in Utah

You may know Colin Duffy from watching his stellar Olympic debut or seeing his mind-bending comp performances. But when he steps onto the real rock, he absolutely crushes.

Black Diamond followed Duffy to Utah and watched him throw down on some the Hurricave’s hardest routes, culminating in a send of Life of Villains 5.14d. After the send, he climbed The Activator 5.14d and Flight of the Concords 5.14c.

At age 16, he became the youngest climber to qualify to compete at the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, where where he finished in seventh place.
