Sean McColl headed into the National Bouldering Championships in Montreal as the reigning champion hoping to defend his title.
On men’s problem number four, McColl pulled off one of the most memorable moves of the weekend.
After a difficult reverse press, he reached out and made sure he had the next hold before locking off and committing to the one-arm 180. He followed it with a big dyno to finish the problem.
Sean McColl finished the weekend in first place. Second placed American Josh Larson made an equally, if not more impressive, few moves to climb through this route’s crux.
