Watch Seb Bouin Send Biographie 5.15a

Seb Bouin is one of the world’s top sport climbers with sends like Move 5.15b/c and La Rage d’Adam 5.15b/c to his name. He has over a dozen first ascent of 5.14d or harder. Watch a short film featuring French legends Arnaud Petit, Laurent Girousse and Sylvain Millet, along side Bouin as he takes on the classics of Ceuse, including Biographie.

The first ascent of Biographie was by Chris Sharma in 2001, but it was bolted back in 1989 by Jean-Christophe Lafaille. After his send, Sharma called it Realization, but Lafaille had named it Biographie and in France the person who bolts the route gets to name it. So most climbers, even Sharma, refer to it as Biographie.

It’s one of the most-climbed 5.15s to date along with La Rambla.

Vintage Rock Tour – #ep 3 Ceuse – Biographie The third episode of the VRT will be ready in September. Ceuse was a big part of this VRT. Biographie was the main (and hardest) route for this stop. We will also include historical routes from Patrick Edlinger, and other. The spirit of this VRT is to meet the legends of the time.
