Wideboyz Set New Staffordshire Nose Speed Record

Tom Randall and Pete Whittaker, also known as the Wideboyz, broke the Staffordshire Nose record this summer. The challenge was known as the Brown-Whillans Day Out, which involved climbing all of Joe Brown and Don Whillans climbs at Hen Cloud, Roaches and Ramshaw in under 24 hours, took on a new name when the Wideboyz began setting records.

Their new time is now two hours and 44 minutes. The speed record of The Nose in Yosemite is two hours and 23 minutes set by Alex Honnold and Hans Flourine in 2012. And the speed record for climbing the Eiger north face is two hours and 22 minutes by Ueli Steck.
