Will Gadd Climbs an Ice Dagger After Steep Rock

The Rockies-based climber ascends Physiotherapy an hour west of Calgary

Last winter, Will Gadd visited the Rehab Wall in Kananaskis Country’s Evan Thomas Creek for a lap of Physiotherapy. The crag takes over an hour to approach, but the routes make the trek more than worth it.

Physiotherapy is a 20-metre M7 that was established in 2008 by Brandon Pullan and Will Meinen. It follows horizontal cracks and corners up steepening rock to a roof and ice dagger. The rock is bolted and the transition onto the ice varies from year to year.
