Solly Kemball Dorey has made the third ascent of Isles of Wonder in the U.K. and gave it a personal grade of V16. It was first climbed in summer 2022 by Aidan Roberts, who said, “a wonderfully rare alignment where the hardest and best climb I’ve done coincides.”

In 2023, Will Bosi made the second ascent of the problem. He used a right heel hook to tame the lower section, which he believed may have reduced the grade. “Really happy to send this king line!” he said on his 8a.nu page. “I think my beta is easier than Aidan’s so I think 8C [V15] is fair.” Via Instagram he added, “I think it’s hard 8C [V15], time will tell though.”

Dorey, 23, has climbed several hard problems over the years, including The Story of 2 Worlds V15, Paradise Found V15 and Poseidon’s Wrath V15.
