The second Boulder World Cup of 2024 is being held this weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah. The women’s and men’s qualification round is being held tomorrow, Friday May 3. Saturday will feature the men’s semi-final and final, with the women’s semi-final and final taking place on Sunday. A Speed World Cup is also taking place over the weekend – the women’s event is on Saturday and men’s event is on Sunday.

Salt Lake City will serve as a mini preview to the 2024 Paris Olympics as many athletes who have already qualified for the Summer Games are expected to compete in the Boulder event, including Jessica Pilz, Oriane Bertone, Oceana Mackenzie, Natalia Grossman, Jakob Schubert, Toby Roberts, Tomoa Narasaki, Sorato Anraku, Colin Duffy, and Campbell Harrison. Janja Garnbret, the gold medal winner of the first two World Cups this year, will not be at the event.

Many of Canada and the United States’ top talent will also be competing in Salt Lake City. Team USA members Natalia Grossman and Brooke Raboutou are making their 2024 World Cup debut. After a long absence from the World Cup circuit, Canadian Alannah Yip is also registered to compete. See below for the full list of Canadian and American athletes registered to compete in the Salt Lake City Boulder comp.
