Trailer for New Warren Miller ‘Face of Winter’
Warren Miller Entertainment has an ace team including director Chris Patterson, cinematographer Tom Day and editor Kim Schneider have created the first film since Miller passed away.
The film focuses on Miller’s life, early films and history but combines it with where skiing is today and where it’s going.
The film starts at B.C.’s Red Mountain in a new off-piste area with locals touring the best spots.
It then brings us to Portillo in Chile, Cardrona in New Zealand, Points North Heli-Adventures in Alaska (featured in 17 Warren Miller films), Troll Peninsula in Iceland, the Alps and Denali.
The world premiere is on Oct. 12 in Portland, Oregon, and will then tour North America. See locations and purchase tickets here.
