Bassa Mawen’s Heartbreaking Fall in Finals Results in Silver
The Innsbruck World Championships wrapped up after 10 days of intense competition between some of the best climbers in the world.
One of the most memorable falls was Bassa Mawen from France in the speed finals against world record holder Reza Alipour.
As Mawen, who is Instagram-famous with his brother Mickael, looked like he was about to take the gold medal in speed finals, missed the final foot hold and fell into silver.
