Comp Climber Gets Stuck in Crack – Wide Boyz Break it Down
A climber had to be assisted after getting his hand stuck in a crack following a foot slip in a World Cup
The Meiringen Boulder World Cup recently took place with climbers Janja Garnbret and Tomoa Narasaki taking gold. During qualifiers, Gregor Vezonik got his hand stuck in a jam and had to be helped off the problem by Mickael Mawem.
With crack problems and routes becoming more popular at indoor gyms and in climbing competitions, the famous crack climbing Wide Boyz duo of Tom Randall and Pete Whittaker say “it should be taken seriously how cracks are manufactured and set.”
