Freeride Ski and Snowboard 2019 Wild Footage and Results

Yesterday, world’s best freeriders enjoyed fresh snow under blue skies on the legendary “Wildseeloder” venue aiming for the biggest lines and huge drops in the Austrian Alps. Norwegian Hedvig Wessel (Ski Women) earned the top spot on the podium especially with a huge backflip at the bottom, while Markus Eder (ITA – Ski Men) took his second Freeride World Tour victory in 2019 extending his overall lead once more.

The snowboarders’ competitions are currently dominated by the French: Marion Haerty and Victor De Le Rue both claimed their second Tour wins in a row after being successful in Canada earlier this month.

In addition, both athletes lead in the overall rankings and continue to secure their position.
