The Himalayas of Nepal and Tibet don’t have the best snow quality and the altitude keeps many skiers away.

Watch as two of the best freeride skiers on the planet head above 6,500 metres to attempt a first descent.

A whole lot of suffering follows for Chris Rubens and Cody Townsend on their way to find out why Tibet is not about to be on every skier’s bucket list.

To preview it for ya, this was the possibly the most challenging trip of my life. Filled with physical suffering, frustration and lots of questions. Which is sort of the magic of the mountains, they challenge you in all forms and some of my greatest life lessons have been found on the side of a peak.
