These 26 Climbers Have Qualified for the Paris Olympics

Several top climbers, such as Janja Garnbret, Natalia Grossman, Jakob Schubert and Tomoa Narasaki have already qualified

In qualifying for the 2024 Summer Olympics, a total of 68 climbers, with an equal distribution between men and women, will compete across two disciplines for the first time: bouldering and lead combined, and speed climbing. A total of 40 climbers (20 per gender) will compete in the men’s and women’s boulder and lead competitions. Each country can only send a maximum of four climbers with an equal split between men and women. See the 14 lead and boulder climbers who’ve qualified as of Nov. 26 below.

And a total of 28 climbers (14 per gender) will compete in the inaugural men’s and women’s speed climbing event. Each country could only send a maximum of four climbers with an equal split between men and women. See the 12 speed climbers who’ve qualified as of Nov. 26 below.
