Sasha DiGiulian’s First Female Ascent of a Verdon 5.14

Sasha DiGiulian has made the first female ascent of a new 5.14 in France’s Verdon Gorge called La Coccinelle Trump L’oeil. 

The Verdon Gorge is between Nice and Marseilles and was formed from the Verdon River. The limestone gorge is hundreds of metres high and has long been a popular climbing destination.

While there are hundreds of routes, there is plenty of room for more. Here is a photo by Jensen Walker of Sasha on the new 5.14, La Coccinelle Trump L’oeil:
