Hard New Route by Toni Lamprecht
Toni Lamprecht is a 43-year-old German climber who recently made the first ascent of Black Flag 5.14+ at Rockywand in Germany.
Planet Mountain noted that, “Making the first ascent of a 5.14+ at 43 isn’t a world record, but it certainly isn’t an everyday occurrence and that’s why we’re delighted to report about the first ascent of Black Flag at the hands of Toni Lamprecht, the German sport climber and boulderer who for more than 25 years has consistently been one of the leading figures in his home Kochel area.”
The Kochel area is in Bavaria in southern Germany. There are more than 70 routes. Lampracht said to that his hardest send to date was on Die Welle, an unrepeated 5.14d he climbed in 2001.
