Jeep’s Super Bowl Ad Is A North Face Rip-Off

Super Bowl ads are big business and it Jeep just tried to pull a fast one, but when the world is watching, someone will notice.

Jeep aired “Beautiful Lands” commercial to the soundtrack of Woody Guthrie’s classic This Land is Your Land.

The minute-and-a-half ad shows views of the U.S. to promote the 2015 Jeep Renegade and features songwriter Marc Scibilia singing the classic tune.

It’s more or less the same ad The North Face created late last year. The soundtrack, length message are pretty much identical. Watch below and decide for yourself.
