Tour de Bloc 2014/15 Season
The Tour de Bloc’s Eastern Canada tour got on its way two weeks ago. With things about to get going out west, the compeition season is in full swing.
For those wondering what Tour de Bloc is, it’s the Canadian national bouldering series. It celebrated its 10-year anniversary in 2013. In its 10-year history as Canada’s national climbing series, the Tour de Bloc has organized over 150 events in 35 different gyms with close to 20,000 competitors.
Every season brings new competitors to the tour. At some point, the future Sean McColl might be stepping up to the finals’ problem for his first time. The future Stacey Weldon could be anxiously awaiting her first-ever competition, knowing full-well that she’s got what it takes. It’s a very exiting time of the year for climbing in Canada.
