Alannah Yip Makes Semis at First Boulder World Cup 2019

Alannah Yip made it through to semi-finals at the first bouldering World Cup in Meiringen of 2019. She came fifth in her group, which gave her ninth overall – a solid first round. She finished in 15th overall after not making it to finals.

For the men, Sean McColl will be disappointed with 24th, four spots shy of the cut off. Also a surprise was Kai Harada, bouldering world champion from last year, and top boulderer Jan Hojer, also not making it through to the next round.
