Canada's new King toured a climbing facility a decade ago - here's the footage

The United Kingdom and Canada’s new monarch, King Charles loves action sports and is a keen skier and polo player and has supported outdoor adventure education for young people. He’s also had a go at bouldering, and although he needs a few tips, he looks like a natural.

Belgium’s King Albert I climbed some of the hardest routes in the Alps and died in a rope solo accident cragging in the Ardennes in 1934. Charles won’t have time to seriously challenge the Belgian royals’ climbing majesty, but now that he’s king, maybe he could install a woody at Buckingham Palace and work on keeping his centre of balance lower.
