Nalle bags third-ascent of V15

Nalle Hukkatival recently sent the sit start to Klem Loskot’s Bugeleisen in Austria, a 13-year project. Before leaving Maltatal valley he dispatched one last route, the sit start to Loskot’s 2002 route Emotional Landscape.

Nalle Hukkatival reports on Facebook, “Last day, best day. Managed to squeeze in a last minute send of Klem Loskot’s Emotional Landscapes 8C. If there’s one thing I learned this trip, it’s that everything doesn’t have to be perfect and good things happen when you least expect it. Sometimes you get a crazy head-cold, sleep for 17 hours and send your project on the last day. What a good ending to a great trip. Onto the next one.”

The route was originally graded V14, but Hukkatival suggested the grade of V15 which would make it the world’s first V15. The route was repeated by Martin Moser in 2004.
