First Look: Petzl KAB Rope Bag for Indoor Climbing

Petzl has released some information about some of their January 2019 equipment and the Petzl KAB rope bag caught our attention.

It’s designed for gym climbing with an urban aesthetic. The bag features a removable rope tarp. Two distinct compartments allow the user to separate climbing equipment from other items.

Thanks to its gusseted design, the volume quickly adjusts from 20 to 26 litres carrying the essential gear required for a gym session: rope, harness, shoes, belay device, chalkbag and so on.

The reinforced, adjustable shoulder strap ensures comfort.

Two distinct compartments allow the user to simultaneously carry climbing equipment and other everyday items.

Zippered gusset allows easy transformation from 20 to 26 liters, accommodating rope up to 60 m.

It will be winter before you know it, never too soon to start thinking about dark evenings spent in the climbing gym.
