Gord McArthur Wins Drytool Comp in Colorado

Canadian winter comp climber Gord McArthur was going to retire last year but decided not to hang up the tools just yet.

He just won a the City Rock’s indoor drytool competition in Colorado against some top performing mixed climbers.

McArthur plans on competing at the 2019 UIAA Ice World Cup tour stops.

I was in retirement. But decided I had some personal unfinished business. Tonight…I climbed my best. I tried hard. I stayed focused. And I won. A competition down in Colorado filled with a lot of great climbers. So many crushers. I love @climbcityrock climbing gym-the atmosphere, the people. Such an amazing vibe.
