Palestine Climbing Association Joins the IFSC

"The admission of the Palestinian Federation, along with the ones of Federations representing Bolivia, Guam, and Nigeria, will be ratified at the XXI IFSC General Assembly"

A press release has been released by the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) saying the Palestine Social Sport Climbing Club Association (PCA) is to become a member.

The press release reads: ” The Executive Board of the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) has voted to include the Palestine Social Sport Climbing Club Association (PCA) as the newest Member Federation of the organisation.”

The IFSC has 98 members, including Israel, but Russia and Belarus are currently suspended due to the conflict in Ukraine. Climbing is part of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with two remaining qualifier series events to take place in Shanghai (from May 16 to 19) and Budapest (from June 20 to 23).
