Sean McColl Podiums at Climbing Works Fest 2019

Sean McColl finished second at the Climbing Works Fest 2019 in the U.K. behind Nathan Phillips and ahead of Alexey Rubtsov.

There were more tops for the women and Melissa Le Neve took the win, a few years after she stopped doing IFSC world cup comps. Second was Michaela Tracey and third was Chloe Caulier.

McColl miss the Canadian bouldering nationals at Bolder in Calgary. He’s a 12 time Canadian champion. He watched on YouTube and stayed busy commenting and supporting other. He said that, “Competing at nationals didn’t align with my training plan. I’ve been in Europe training for the season and decided last minute to go to Climbing Works.”
