Throwback Thursday: Chris Sharma’s Witness the Fitness V15

Chris Sharma’s first ascent of the incredible roof problem Witness The Fitness in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas.

From the film Dosage Volume 3, it’s one of the wildest and hardest roof problems ever climbed and only repeated twice since the first ascent in 2005.

It was first repeated by Fred Nicole and then by Daniel Woods, who broke a key hold. The route is now unclimbable.

This is the crux hold on #witnessthefitness. Jimmy Webb was close to sending until this happened. The most spectacular roof problem on the planet, but unfortunately not built to last. Video of @dawoods89 on his recent and final ascent coming soon. #RIP #heartbreak @chris_sharma
