October 3, 2012

British climber Hazel Findlay has climbed a difficult new trad route in Squamish. Adder Crack 5.13c R at Long House crag which is between The Squaw and The Chief. The route was originally cleaned by Josh Lavinge but after inspecting the climb and realizing that his fingers could not fit in the thin sections of the crack, he handed the route over to Findlay. After four days of effort, Findlay bagged the first ascent of Adder Crack 5.13c R.

More details are available on Hazel Findlay’s blog.
