Big Wave Wall in Newfoundland Gets Big Mixed Route

Calgary-based climbers Michelle Kadatz and Jon Walsh have been on Canada’s East Coast experiencing Newfoundland’s big ice for the first time. They got right to work and have established at least one big line.

They climbed a big new mixed route up Big Wave Wall at Bakers Brook Pond. No name or technical detail have been published, but Kadatz has put up a photo of the line on Instagram, check it out below. They also ticked a long unknpwn-to-them route on the Cholestoral Wall, a face with a dozen routes up to 350 metres.
