New Hard Four-Pitch at Gros Bonnett in Quebec

It has been reported on EscaladeClimbing.com that Jeff Beaulieu has made the first free ascent of L’Examen de Rattrapage, a new four pitch climb at Gros Bonnet. A number of climbers helped to clean and establish the route, including Francois Turgeon and Anne-Sophie Robere. The route follows a difficult crack and steep face.  The pitches break down as 5.10 for 20 metres, 5.11 for 30 metres, 5.hard for 40 metres and 5.10 for the last 20 metres. Read the French report here.
