West Coaster Elan Jonas McRae Sends Shelter V13

The Squamish rock climbing season is off to a great start with new hard single-pitch routes and now hard sends by Elan Jonas McRae. The strong comp climber ticked Shelter V13 in the Grand Wall Boulders.

The technical problem was first climbed by Tim Clifford and has been sent by a number of strong climbers, including Jamie Finlayson and Luke Zimmerman. Watch McRae on Shelter below.

No luck on the second move of singularity yesterday but managed to climb Shelter. An amazing v13 on good crimps and tiny feet! The crux for me was the topout which was wet and covered in mud. But I managed not to slip and will upload that part in another post.
