New Patagonia Routes

New “instant classic” on Cerro Domo Blanco.

Cerro Domo Blanco

Joel and Neill Kauffman with Mikey Schaefer climbed a new route on the east face of Cerro Domo Blanco. The climb has three distinct tiers, the third one has a long ice filled chimney. “It is comparable in quality to Exocet in Aguja Standhardt and it should become an instant classic,” as stated on Pata Climb. The route is called the Kauffman/Schaefer, WI5, M5, 500 m.

Aguja Guillaumet 

Scott Bennett and Graham Zimmerman climbed a line on the west face of Aguja Guillaumet, Bossanova, 5.11, A1, 400 m. A month later Iñaki Coussirat, Carlos Molina and Caroline North climbed two variations to the Beger-Jennings route on the east face of Aguja Guillaumet.
