Last weekend in Denver, the American Alpine Club held its annual awards and benefit banquet where it honoured iconic American climbers Royal Robbins, Doug Robinson, Conrad Anker and Mark Richey. Founded in 1902, the American Alpine Club remains involved in important conservation initiatives while maintaining a world-class mountaineering library. More details here.
