In August, the infamous Squamish headpoint route, Bruce Lee v. The Kiss Army 5.13R/X saw three repeats in one morning. Visiting American Alex Honnold had the most impressive send with a flash ascent of the route, but Canadians Marc-Andre Leclerc and Steve Townshend also put in impressive efforts. Leclerc bagged the line on his eighth attempt after logging four massive falls from the final mantle while Tonwshend climb it on his third go. This committing and technical route was first climbed by Abndrew Boyd in 2004 and was unrepeated until these recent ascents.
