New Brunswick’s 100-metre Cobblestone Wall is Wild

A fun looking new route was recently climbed on a steep conglomerate wall, with cobblestones and pockets, above the Kennebecasis River, which is a tributary of the Saint John River. The Kennebecasis runs for 95 kilomtres from the Caledonia Highlands to the Bay of Fundy. The conglomerate wall is called the Minister’s Face and is found on Long Island.

Father and son duo, Steve and Jon Adamson, established the new 40-metre 5.10c called Abu. Peter Adamson said of the route, “It is without a doubt one of the best routes in New Brunswick.”
