Jan 17, 2011 – Pidgeon Climbs Dark Age

Canada’s top female boulderer, Thomasina Pidgeon, has added another hard tick to her growing list of difficult boulder problems. Climbing in Hueco, Pidgeon sent Dark Age V11, which is the sit-start to the classic high ball See Spot V6. Pidgeon described the problem as “a power -enduro fest and mind boggle. I have seen some good friends hurt themselves on it and committing to the final moves is a bit of an epic.”

With ascents up to V12, Pidgeon is one of the few  women bouldering who consistently climb double-digit V grades
