Intravenous Fly Trap is Hard New Scottish Winter Route

Greg Boswell led a new route in Scotland he called Intravenous Fly Trap X/10. On Instagram, he wrote about the below photo, “Scott seconding our new route in Lochain called Intravenous Fly Trap X/10. Climbed onsight with avalanches ripping down on either side of us all day. It was an amazing yet terrifying day!”

The week before his new route in Lochain, Boswell led a potentially new direct finish to the classic Babylon on Ben Nevis. You might remember that Boswell and Nick Bullock were in Canada last winter and were attacked by a grizzly bear on the Icefields Parkway.
