Kai Lightner Sends First V13 On Summer in Paradise

Kai Lightner is one of the world’s leading young climbers with sends up to 5.14d and national championship podiums to his name. He is currently in Magic Wood projecting hard boulders. On his first day, he sent Octopussy V11, Voigas V12 and two sends of Sofa Surfer V12.

With top climber James Webb giving him tips and beta, Lightner has sent his first V13 called Summer in Paradise. Lightner had ticked other hard problems in the past, such as Mandala V12 in Bishop. Scroll through the photos below.
