Amanda Berezowski Climbs Another 5.14 with Northern Man
West Coaster Amanada Berezowski has climbed her second 5.14a with a tick of Northern Man at Horne Lake. See her Instagram post about it below.
Berezowki’s first 5.14a was back in October of 2016. She climbed Dinosaur Highway, a classic of the grade at Horne Lake. She noted after, “My first 14. This route had a lot of different movement packed into it.
“Two months ago a lot of it felt dynamic, but by the send almost none of it. I really like that the other 13’s at Horne really prepare you for it and then it’s just a little step up.”
She has had a big year on the boulders with climbs of Slow Dance V10 and Soul Singer V9 in Bishop, Zero Zero V10 in Squamish, and Cowboy V9 at Val David.
It seems the rock season in Canada is winding down, but with a few more warm days in the forecast there’s still time to bag that 2017 project.
