May 25, 2011 – Dornian Receives ACC Award

The Alpine Club of Canada (ACC) has bestowed its prestigious A.O. Wheeler Award to David Dornian for his contributions to Canadian climbing. Dornian was responsible for introducing sport climbing to the ACC in the late 80s and is currently representing Canada at annual international sport climbing meetings as well the UIAA Ice Climbing Commission. During these accomplishments, Dornian also found time to be a camp manager and amateur leader at the General Mountaineering Camp for more than 15 years. More details here.
