July 5, 2011 – Sport Climbing Shortlisted for 2020 Olympics
The International Olympic Committee Executive Board has just announced that sport climbing has been added to the shortlist of sports being considered for inclusion in the 2020 Olympics.
The International Olympic Committee Executive Board has just announced that sport climbing has been added to the shortlist of sports being considered for inclusion in the 2020 Olympics.
The International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) president Marco Maria Scolaris believes the decision is a step forward in the IFSC’s goal of seeing sport climbing recognized as an Olympic event.
The final decision on will be made during the 125th IOC Session in Buenos Aires in 2013.
