Shawn Raboutou Repeats Finnish Line V15 in Rocklands

Shawn Raboutou has repeated Nalle Hukkataival’s The Finnish Line V15 in Rocklands, South Africa.

Hukkataival had graded it V15/16, but Raboutou suggests it should stick at V15. Alex Megos and Toby Saxton have also climbed it and it was projected by Jimmy Webb.

Megos did not comment on the grade and Saxton said it is V16. Saxton’s only other V15 is Monkey Wedding.

Raboutou was born in 1998 and has been climbing since the age of two. He comes from a famous climbing family, including his parents Didier Raboutou and Robyn Erbesfield and is brother to Brooke, another top youth climber.

He’s climbed other hard Rocklands problems, including Monkey Wedding V15 and Spray of Light V15. Also in South Africa, he climbed Khoikhoi in Weighbridge.
