New Seven-Pitch 5.12d in Squamish is La Princess

Jason Green has reported about another new climb on New Delhi Cliff in Squamish called La Princess.

The seven-pitch 5.12d is mostly bolted, but Green notes you’ll still need a set of cams, 12 quickdraws and a single rope.

The first ascent was on July 2 by Green and Tristan Baills. It climbs five pitches of the striking arete you can see from a distance.

The first two pitches go at 5.10, then there’s a 5.11b pitch before the technical crux pitch of 5.12c. Another 5.12a pitch leads to the powerful 5.12d crux and into easier climbing.
